Rating Advice

Morgan Smithyes carry out rating work on behalf of a number of clients.

Most occupiers would have received notification of the revised rateable value effective from April 2010. On the face of it, the majority of rates payable will be lower in view if the reduction in the UBR from 48.5 to 41.4 which may also be subject to transitional adjustment.

There may still be scope for further reduction by way of appealing the rateable value.
